The selection process consists of the following stages:

The typing test is conducted on a computer.

The English Typing Test is qualifying in nature and its marks are not added to the final merit score.
In case of a tie, the notification provides successive tie-breaking criteria, including marks in the shorthand test, Main Examination, Interview and then Date of Birth, with the older candidate receiving preference.
