Vacancy Details
IBPS has notified 11,403 indicative vacancies for CRP CSA-XVI.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
The final result of the qualifying degree must have been declared on or before 21 August 2026.
Candidates are required to provide their graduation details while filling out the online application.
Computer Knowledge
Working knowledge of computer systems is also required. Candidates should have a certificate, diploma or degree in computer operations/language, or should have studied Computer / Information Technology as a subject in High School, College or Institute.
Local Language Requirement
Candidates applying for a particular State/UT must possess proficiency in the specified or opted local language of that State/UT.
The candidate should be able to:

Candidates who have studied the specified/opted local language in 10th standard or above and possess the required certificate or marksheet will not be required to appear in the Local Language Proficiency Test.
State / UT Selection
A candidate can apply for vacancies in only one State/UT.
The candidate should select the State/UT carefully while submitting the application. The examination centre may be allotted within the selected State/UT or, depending on administrative requirements, at another location.
Preliminary Examination Pattern
The Preliminary Examination will be conducted online and will contain three sections.

The Main Examination is separately timed for each section.
Negative Marking
There will be a penalty for incorrect answers in the Online Preliminary and Main Examinations.
For each wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
No marks will be deducted for questions that are left unanswered.

Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination are used for shortlisting. Only Main Examination marks are considered for final merit listing.
Local Language Proficiency Test
Candidates who are required to demonstrate proficiency in the local language will have to qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) before joining the allotted bank.
Candidates who have already studied the relevant language in 10th standard or above and provide acceptable documentary proof are exempt from the test.
Failure to qualify the LLPT will result in disqualification from appointment.
Final Merit and Provisional Allotment
After the Main Examination, candidates are considered for provisional allotment based on their merit, State/UT, preferences and vacancies reported by the participating banks.
The notification makes it clear that the vacancies are indicative and may change according to the requirements of participating banks.
Once a bank has been allotted, a request for change of the allotted bank will not normally be entertained.
