Negative Marking: There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in objective tests. 0.25 marks (one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question) will be deducted for each wrong answer. If a question is left blank, there is no penalty. Multiple answers marked for one question will also be treated as wrong answers.

Normalization of Scores

  • The corrected scores obtained by candidates in different shifts are normalized using the equi-percentile method.
  • Scores up to two decimal points are used for calculating final merit and cut-offs.

Cut-off Score & Qualifying Criteria

  • Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for provisional allotment / interview.
  • Cut-off scores are decided by IBPS based on the number of vacancies available.
